It consists of people, structures, systems and procedures. The need for security emanates from an aspect of fear which is a permanent feature in human behaviour due to the criminality and anarchism prevalent in our societies and organisations in particular. Security is a feature of human interactions from the individual right up to the global level. It is clear that the need for security training rests on our quest to increase security. These could include threats to personal safety, personal property, organisational assets and communal interests.
